Terms & Conditions (Thuraya Backup SIM)
- First call must be made within 12 months.
- If no calls are made within 12 months from the activation date, the SIM will go into inactive status and a monthly charge of $19 will be deducted until a call is made.
- Validity Period:5 years since the first call.
- Renewal fee:$120 (120 units automatically deducted from balance on renewal date).
- If the balance is less than $120 at the time of renewal, the account will move to the 90-day grace period (calls still received).
- If the account is topped up during the grace period, the current balance will be restored.
- If not topped up during the grace period, the account will be cancelled and the phone number will be lost.
- View list of countries in Band 1 and Band 2.
- Minimum charging increment:1 minute/call.
