IMPORTANT UPDATE FROM COBHAM SATCOM
Due to a recent issue concerning the outdated GPS module of BGAN EXPLORER 300, 500 and 700 series terminals, these terminals are currently unable to connect to the Inmarsat network. At present, only terminals manufactured between 2004 and 2007 are affected. However, over the coming years, all other BGAN EXPLORER 300, 500 and 700 terminals will experience the same issue and cease to function. To address this situation, Cobham Satcom has implemented a trade-in program for the 300, 500 and 700 series. This program allows you to upgrade to the new BGAN EXPLORER 510 and 710 terminals, which are designed to be compatible with future updates, and is applicable for upgrade requests placed between June 9th and September 1st, 2023. Prepaid Plan Options We offer a variety of prepaid plan options for Inmarsat’s BGAN and IsatHub products. These plans can be used on all popular BGAN and IsatHub terminals, including terminals manufactured by AddValue, Hughes, and Thrane & Thrane. When purchasing a BGAN prepaid plan, you can request to receive notifications when your balance is low and a history of your usage.
