Nam Viet Telecommunication Equipment Co., Ltd. has completed the handover of the Cobham Explorer 710 BGAN WiFi Hotspot to Phu Yen Provincial Radio and Television Station on April 20, 2025. The handover ceremony took place at the Station's headquarters, with the presence of Mr. Nguyen Van Tam – Director of Phu Yen Radio and Television Station along with reporters and editors of the unit.

The Cobham Explorer 710 is an advanced satellite communication device with high-speed Internet connectivity up to 650 kbps and IP streaming up to 1 Mbps thanks to its BGAN Bonding feature. This device is particularly suitable for reporting teams and broadcasters operating in areas without telecommunication infrastructure, or in emergency natural disaster situations.
Mr. Nguyen Van Tam stated: “Phu Yen Radio and Television Station often has to cover stories in mountainous areas such as An Lao, Van Canh or remote offshore areas. This device will help our reporters connect to the Internet and transmit data quickly to the station, ensuring timely information to serve the audience.”
During the handover, our company's technicians provided detailed instructions on using the Explorer 710, including setting up satellite connection, configuring WiFi network, and optimizing data to save costs. The device was successfully tested with the transmission of an HD video file from Son Hoa district to the Station's headquarters in just 5 minutes.
