Product Description
The Cobham Explorer 540 Satellite WiFi Hotspot is the world's first and only Inmarsat-certified terminal with the unique capability to operate in a dual-mode network, with automatic switching between BGAN and cellular networks. This device provides always-on connectivity for critical monitoring and control applications, allowing users to choose the most suitable network provider depending on their location.
The EXPLORER 540 is built tough, with IP66 dust and water resistance, a rugged enclosure, and optional pole-mount for increased elevation. Simple to set up and easy to operate, with SMS remote management features, this terminal is the perfect choice for harsh and remote environments.
The terminal allows for seamless switching between BGAN and cellular networks, while providing reliable, bidirectional IP data services globally. This is the ideal solution for organizations requiring M2M (Machine-to-Machine) connectivity such as SCADA, asset tracking or real-time data collection.- Specifications
