Messaging Plans
Your SmartOne will need a messaging plan to operate and OSAT offers simple choices for your messaging requirements.Messaging Options
- Enterprise Server: We can send the raw messages transmitted from your tracker to your enterprise server. Please note that the minimum device quantity is 50+ for this service. For smaller quantities, we can send over osattrack.com. You will be responsible for decoding all messages received.
- Email: The decoded messages containing time and location information transmitted, etc. can be sent via email to your preferred email address. Please note that you must select one of the map options below in order to receive messages via email, as they are generated from our map portal.
- OSAT Track: For an additional fee, we can process the messages transmitted from your device and provide them via our online map application (see ‘Map Options’ below for pricing).
OSAT Track Map Options
We offer an online map portal, OSAT Track, that allows you to view the current location, past movements and other data relevant to tracking functions available on your Globalstar device. Once your device is activated, we will provide you with a username and password to access our map website and view your device’s movement. Fees are charged per device. SMARTONE SATELLITE TRACKER – MESSAGING RECEIPT AND FORMATTING OPTIONS
Before we can activate your SmartOne Satellite Tracker, you must select a GTC messaging plan and a message receipt route. The messaging plan allows the SmartOne tracker to transmit GPS coordinates and other data to your chosen destination. In order to view GPS coordinates and other information transmitted from the device on a map portal or receive them via server or email, you must also select one of the delivery options below:- GTCTrack
- Deliver raw data to the enterprise server
- Deliver decrypted messages via email
- Deliver decrypted messages to a URL
- Download full details on message options
