COBHAM SAILOR 100 GX MARITIME WIFI HOTSPOT HANDOVER PROJECT

Our company has just completed the project of handing over the Cobham Sailor 100 GX 1M Marine WiFi system with ACU and 5W Amplifier to the offshore fishing fleet of Phu Quoc Seafood Co., Ltd., with Mr. Tran Van Hai as the fleet owner. This system provides broadband Internet connectivity via the Ka-band Inmarsat Global Xpress network, helping the fleet maintain stable communication in all sea weather conditions. The installation process was carried out quickly thanks to the single Ethernet over Coax cable design, and our technical team configured and optimized the system to ensure the highest performance. The results exceeded expectations with stable transmission and reception speeds even when the ship was in offshore waters.  Mr. Tran Van Hai - Owner of Phu Quoc fishing fleet during the handover ceremony After the handover, the crew was trained on how to use and manage the system remotely via secure HTTPS and SSH protocols. The system will help the ship maintain communication, update weather and navigation information, improve operational efficiency, and ensure safety during voyages.
